We work according to the “arcus crèche concept” which is based on the pedagogical approach of Emmi Pikler. The focus here is on the competent child and on treating the child with respect. The “Crèche Museldrauwen” daycare center sees itself as a community place where children feel comfortable, can build a social network and open themselves up to new things.
We act according to the principle of the competent child. Through research-based learning, children acquire knowledge and skills and educate themselves.
Our goal is to offer children the opportunity to learn creatively and by solving problems. We make their questions and interests the starting point for their learning. We help the child to develop courage and to approach tasks.
Our educational fields of activity include: caring care, free movement development, free play for infants and toddlers, autonomy development, social skills as well as language and media.
