Crèche Kannerstuff

The « Kannerstuff » nursery managed by the non-profit organization « Mameranus » opened its doors in 1982.
It is under agreement with the Ministry of National Education, Children and Youth, and a member of the Entente des Foyers de Jour .

Most of our educational objectives derive from children’s rights and consist above all in the stimulation of all the senses to promote multi-cultural learning in pleasant and joyful conditions.

Through games, our children learn the language and the Luxembourgish language, the tool for communication and integration at school.

Through a multitude of activities, our children have the opportunity to know and respect nature and the environment.

A certain rhythm, rules and consequences help them find their limits and find themselves in an environment of trust and security.

Girls and boys are educated equally.

The Crèche team is keen to offer a suitable and varied diet to children. Meals based on local, market-fresh and seasonal products are prepared on site.

Given that the Crèche welcomes children with special needs, all children learn that the inclusion of people with disabilities is obvious.

The child’s education at the Crèche is intended to complement and support family education. Parents retain primary responsibility. Close collaboration with parents is therefore one of our priorities.
