Crèche Villa PanTau

On July 1, 2005, the Villa PanTau nursery opened its doors in Mersch, initially with two groups.

Due to high demand, we used the option to move in January 2010 to « Rue Emmanuel Servais 28 » which now offers enough light space to keep children in four groups.

Location / Garden

Villa PanTau is located in Mersch about 5 minutes from the station, easy to access and quiet.

We also benefit from terraces, -one for each group-, and a large and pretty garden.

Toys are made mainly on the basis of natural and soft to the touch materials. They were chosen to meet the needs of children.

Villa Pantau benefits from many interesting offers from the municipality of Mersch, for example:

• Bio-dynamic farm of the Kass family in Rollingen

This offer is also complemented by visits to the CAPe theater in Ettelbrück – an exciting, inclusive train journey.

Educational materials

“Help-me-do-alone”

To prepare children to enter primary school, we introduce the handling of materials specific to Montessori pedagogy.

The Montessorian principle helps to develop children’s autonomy and socialization and to open up to surrounding languages.

In addition, we use Emmi Pikler equipment for the little ones.

This is not limited to certain functions, but also allows free experimentation.

Observation is the basis – right material at the right time.

Familiarization

In the adaptation phase, we work with parents and children to follow the established model « Berliner Eingewöhnungsmodell. »

Ecological sustainability

Our nursery is certified according to the SuperDrecksKëscht fir Betriber label. Waste prevention and reduction, cleanliness and safety in the establishment are the advantages of the quality label.
